Interests:
Development of new multidimensional approaches based on the combination of chromatography with MS techniques for characterisation of clinical and biological samples in terms of quantitative elements speciation and species identification. Application of these methodologies, under the Valid Analytical Measurement (VAM)* speciation programme, to As, Sn and Se in clinical samples and to As and Se in dietary substances aims at contributing to obtain "speciated" candidate certified reference materials of urine, serum, tissues, flour and yeast which would offer information not only about total metal contents but also about different metal species.
