BI(MS)2: Invitation to the First Workshop on Laser Bioimaging Mass Spectrometry

The University of Münster and the European Virtual Institute for Speciation Analysis (EVISA) invite you to participate in the First Workshop on Laser Bioimaging Mass Spectrometry - BI(MS)² 2018 - taking place from May 24 to 25, 2018 in Münster, Germany.

The workshop will focus on the major topics in laser-based bioimaging mass spectrometry, such as fundamentals and instrumentation, data collection and analysis, multimode bioimaging and applications of bioimaging for medical, biological, pharmaceutical, forensic and environmental investigations.

The highly stimulating program features an exceptional format including invited and submitted talks as well as poster presentations that span multiple topics, but have laser-based bioimaging mass spectrometry as its foundation. A tutorial short course introducing novices into the methodology of laser bioimaging will be proposed to the participants. Also, an exhibition of instrument and equipment manufacturers will be an important part of the meeting. In addition, coffee breaks and a barbecue will accompany the scientific program providing ample opportunities to interact with colleagues.
