CBI: Belgium legislation: Substances in electronics (RoHS)
Description
The RoHS Directive, 2002/95/EC, bans the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic products, including electrical/electronic toys. The requirements will enter into force 1 July 2006. Belgium has implemented the RoHS Directive in its national legislation. The Belgian legislation is completely harmonised with the EU Directive.
