ISABC14 will cover a wide range of topics in the field of Applied Bioinorganic Chemistry, including interaction of metal ions with biomolecules (proteins, nucleic acids, cofactors etc.),  bioinspired and biomimetic catalysis, metals in medicine, metal ion toxicology and environmental, metal ions in health and diseases, metal ion sensors, metal-based imaging, bioorganometallic chemistry,  biomaterials and all other topics related to metals at the interface of chemistry with biology.

The tentative sessions of ISABC14 will be:

  •     Metal-based drugs
  •     Metal in environment and toxicology
  •     New methods around metals in biology
  •     Metals in imaging and sensing
  •     Metalloenzymes, inspiration, mimics, function and inhibition
  •     Metals and biomolecules (nucleic acids, peptides, proteins, amino acids etc.)
