The Role:

Responsible for the delivery - instruction/mentoring/consulting - of customer educational services in ICPMS and Spectroscopy business segment. This role entails providing not only hands-on technical but also application training to our customers.

  • The Trainer translates customer's educational requirements into single seminars, customized solutions or projects, which improve their effectiveness and intellectual capital.
  • Works to develop and translate training Material, manage the labs in the Waldbronn training center.
  • Deliver in Classroom, at Customer site or remotely. Classroom are based in the Waldbroon Training Center. Customers are in the area Austria-Germany and Switzerland. Rarely is required to travel outside these Countries.
  • Leads projects requiring coordination with other functions, customers, third parties
  • Solves a broad range of problems of varying scope and complexity
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by guiding and training users on preventive maintenance and configurations, as well as how to effectively use the systems to their advantage. Demonstrate and train customers how to use and optimize high end features of Agilent' software platforms to their benefit.

The candidate requirements:

  • have an academic degree in science or engineering, including but not limited to chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology or similar,
  • expertise in analytical techniques and method development (ICPMS, ICPMSMS) in a similar position or as an End-user,
  • preferred expertise in all range of Spectroscopic techniques, including ICPOES, AA, Molecular,
  • have user experience in instrument data analysis software,
  • problem-solving skills, particularly for fixing, applications support and/or general instrument maintenance

Apart from these more technical skills, we are also looking for:

  • a clear passion for public speaking,
  • a strong desire to learn and expand your skill set,
  • able to deliver both in German and English language,
  • enjoy engaging and visiting customers on-site, whilst working remotely
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills,
  • the ability to coordinate and prioritize efficiently, to manage traveling in the listed countries
  • a strong attention to detail and processes, ensuring compliance with Agilent's Quality standards,
  • ability to handle customer expectations and balance customer requirements with business needs,

What we offer:

The full-time, permanent position, based in Germany, is available as soon as possible. Living nearby Waldbronn site is preferred. The role will be part head-office based, part working remotely combined with the travel to customer sites.
