User community on EVISA's Website doubling during the last 6 months

In August, a month known for its reduced activities due to seasonal holidays, the EVISA server has had for the first time more than 100,OOO visitors, more than double the visitors than 6 months before. After a year of stagnation in 2010, now the load on the server is again steadily increasing.

Such impressive numbers underline the fact that the EVISA server is the premier source for all those seeking information related to trace elements and their species. Our server now hosts more than 14000 pages full of relevant information and links to further information available both on related pages on the EVISA server as well as on external sources.

Another reason for the growth dynamics during the last 6 months seems to be related to the changement of Googles policy in ranking with the aim to favour high-quality information. Obviously, EVISA is proving such high quality information and therefore now receives improved visibility through Google.

With the beginning of this month we also have updated our hardware in order to improve the quality of response during periods of peak requests. We hope that you will experience the improved service.
