Zeeman effect background correction

Zeeman-effect background correction is used in atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS) to provide correction for background interferences that could produce analytical errors. Samples are atomized in the presence of a strong AC magnetic field, allowing true analyte atomic absorption to be distinguished from other non-specific species absorption.
