Quality assurance managers as well as competent authorities have to consider a number of aspects in making decisions on compliance with legislation on a national or EU level. There are many reasons for differences in acceptance of consignments of food products and feed . This requires more information than just an analytical result. Critical issues that will be discussed are:
- regulatory issues and requirements
- assessment of compliance
- sampling and its uncertainty
- use of different types of methods of analysis
- quality issues in analysis and measurement uncertainty
- data tracking and tracing as part of quality control
The symposium is intented for an audience of food and feed analysts, quality assurance managers, administrators and academia.
