In general, my research interests focus around elemental speciation in FDA regulated products (foods, drugs, cosmetics, etc.) Specific speciation interests include:
HPLC-ICP-MS for arsenic, chromium, iodine, selenium, and phosphorus speciation in foods and drugs.
HPLC-ESI-MS for confirmation/identification of various elemental species.
Specific arsenic related interests include speciation of arsenic in rice, rice products, and fruit juices
