Description
METALL is an international journal for metallurgy, issued in Germany. It reports mainly about the non-ferrous metals and stainless steel industry. Main metals of focus are copper, aluminum, magnesium, zinc, lead, nickel (including stainless steel) and tin. Beside this METALL deals with composites, semiconductors and specialty metals. Topics are primary and secondary extraction of metals, their processing, materials testing and new developments. In this way METALL reports about metallurgy including equipment, plants and furnaces, but also about the improvement of materials properties by casting, forming, joining, thermal treatments or powder metallurgy. Exclusive report from metallurgical plants show latest developments and user experiences, also from recycling facilities. New material developments METALL is presenting with the view to practical application. In this way METALL is a bridge between industry and research. Competent investigated background-reports about international metal economics including metal prices, the raw material situation, metal markets and statistics serve as an important basis for decision-making in the international metals industry.
