The Journal of Proteome Research (JPR) provides content encompassing all aspects of systems-oriented, global protein analysis and function, emphasizing the synergy between physical and life sciences resulting in a multi-disciplinary approach to the understanding of biological processes.

JPR integrates the fields of chemistry, mathematics, applied physics, biology, and medicine in order to better understand the function of proteins in biological systems. JPR publishes original peer-reviewed research papers, Reviews, Perspectives, and Technical Notes.
