Description
Advanced Engineering Materials are the springboard for many technological breakthroughs. Their superior performance and manufacturing advantages have become critical factors in determining a product's market success. Advanced Engineering Materials is published in cooperation with the German Materials Society (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Materialkunde, DGM), the French Materials Society (Société Française de Métallurgie et de Matériaux, SF2M) and the Swiss Materials Federation (Schweizer Verband für Materialtechnik, SVMT). It aims to become the first source on new developments in fields such as high temperature materials, metallic foams and other cellular materials, precursor-derived ceramics, corrosion of materials, intermetallics, multicomponent alloys, biomedical materials, surface science and coating technology, laser methods in materials processing, modern casting and powder metallurgical techniques, nondestructive testing techniques, composites as structural materials, numeric simulation of materials behavior and processing.
