Waste Management Research satisfies the growing demand for essential information that can be practically applied by those who are responsible for the management of both municipal and industrial waste.

The journal publishes results from a broad cross section of researchers and practitioners in the field; from academic institutions, governments and the private sector. Although the journal may publish papers on any aspect of solid waste management, the main focus is on the discussion and solutions to problems that arise, primarily with manual and industrial solid wastes. In order to achieve a balanced coverage, special attention is given to papers that help to bridge the gap between academic studies and practical problems.
